Cagayan de Oro City Hall Shuts Down Two Restobars

Two business establishments in Cagayan de Oro city had been immediately closed down for conducting operations without the necessary business permits. The City Hall has ordered the closure by virtue of City Mayor Constantino “Tinnex” Jaraula’s Executive Order No. 2010 CGJ-001. The said restobars were De Kalsada Resto Bar, located along Dolores Street in Barangay #1 and Nuwave Grill and Restaurant situated along Velez-San Agustin Streets.

Mayor Constantino Jaraula pointed out that De Kalsada Resto Bar, owned by Jeremy Jonahmar Go Pelaez, was issued with a business permit as an eatery and beverages retailer, but not as a venue for live band performances.  The said business establishment has aslo been operating without building permit or occupancy permit based on the certification from the Office of the City Building Official. While Nuwave Grill and Restaurant, operated by Raymundo Garan, was issued a business permit to operate as a bar was found to have no records of the establishment to operate as a bar. In addition, the said establishment also operates without building permit or occupancy permit from the city government.

Update: De Kalsada Bar and Restaurant is already back in business having obtained the necessary permits to operate here in CDO city.
