Who invented the Motorela?

He put the ‘caretella’ into its antique place by inventing the Motorela. He’s no other than Raphael Floirendo, a graduate of Business Administration and Agriculture at the Far Eastern University and Araneta University.

Floirendo’s family came from northern Luzon. Upon their transfer here in Cagayan De Oro, he was able to study high school at Xavier University-Ateneo De Cagayan.

By inventing the motorela, Raphael earned P500 after selling his first motorela unit. His first unit orders did not come from here but rather from Ozamiz City. At that time, the locals were still into ‘caretella.’
